A tee shirt I did for my niece!

I wanted to see the difference the fibers would make in this pattern.  I used McCall's Creates Pretty Pillows  with Ribbon Embroidery #16315.  The first one I used silk ribbon.  The second one I used two different metallic gold threads.  the last was done with cotton perle #5.  That was very interesting.  There are other patterns in this book that I want to do also.

Stem Stitch

I had a piece of bookmark fabric so I did the stem stitch on it.  I tried it in a few different threads and found I like this one best.  The rayon makes a beautiful shiny stitch but it frays to bad.This one is DMC cotton perle #5. My stash is very small so I know what I am going to be asking Santa for Christmas!

Fly Stitch

I am finding that the more I stitch, the more I want to stitch.   There are so many variations on these stitches that I don't know where to leave off.
