Detached Chain Stitch

I pray Carol Leather doesn't behead me for murdering her strawberry at http://www.needlework-tips-and-techniques.com/lazy-daisy-stitch.html .  I am going to try it again after I get a little proficient at embroidery.  The strawberry was done in 5 coton perle and  the fireworks were done with stranded cotton.
